2026-2027: Pinnacle Regular Season Wrestling

Must meet the following requirements to be eligible for Wrestling

1) Athletic Paperwork and Register my athlete need to be  complete by 10/30/26. Complete RMA first to get additional communications via email. - See the Register Today link and follow


2) First Regular Season Practice is  11/2/26. There is no tryouts; wrestlers will cut themselves. Practice is M thru F, 4:30pm to 7:00pm. Always arrive to practice 15 minutes early.


3) PVUSD Participation Fee is Due by 11/28/26 - See the Register Today link and follow


*A Mandatory Parent/ Coaches meeting is  scheduled for Thursday, 10/8/26 at 5pm in the C Lecture Hall. Please follow the Pinnacle Wrestling Calendar for updates.

Wrestling Essentials:

Gear Needed

  • Wrestling Shoes 
    • We do have some shoes we can lend for free but all wrestlers should purchase if you decide on doing the regular wrestling season
    • If you wish to purchase, here are some options:

      • Amazon Wrestling Shoes
  • Athletic Clothes
    • Compression shirt or tight-fitting t-shirt (to prevent fingers from getting caught)
    • Extra t-shirt in case athlete sweats a lot
    • Compression shorts or fight shorts (no pockets/zippers - preferred)
  • Mouthpiece if have braces

Hygiene & Protection

  • Go home and shower
    • Shower right after practice to avoid skin infections
  • Nail Clippers
    • Nails must be kept short
  • Water Bottle
    • Staying hydrated is huge
